A Letter to the Custodians of The400

When we first distilled this gin twenty years ago, we had no idea it would one day rest beneath the Atlantic Ocean.

At the time, it was simply an exercise in patience — a spirit built slowly, intentionally, and without compromise. Years later, we began asking a different question: What happens when time is no longer the dominant force?

At 400 meters below sea level, time gives way to pressure.

For 400 days, The400 existed in an environment no barrel, warehouse, or cellar could reproduce. The ocean compressed it, quieted it, and reshaped it. What emerged is not merely older — it is denser, calmer, and profoundly resolved.

You are not purchasing a bottle alone.
You are assuming guardianship of an event that cannot be repeated.

Once opened, The400 exists only in memory.
